Eligibility
Students must be:
In Year 12 of education
Taking a STEM-related subject at A-level
Have 5 GCSE's grade 5 and above
Students must also be one of the following:
First in family to attend higher education - (This means neither of your parents/guardians have attended university)
Have been eligible for free school dinners in the last 5 years
Household income of £40,000 or less

Placements are limited, so we strongly encourage early applications to avoid disappointment.
We offer a range of upskilling opportunities, additional training support, mental health and wellbeing workshops, inductions & virtual learner support sessions. These opportunities are ran throughout the programme and students will be made aware of the dates, times and what sessions are running.
Some of these are ran by professional experts and others are ran by the staff here at Research STEM .
