Support us

As a charity, we rely on volunteers and donations to deliver STEM opportunities to children and young people across the region.

Whether you are an individual, a company or a grant-giving trust, there are lots of ways you can get in involved and help the next generation of STEM enthusiasts.

We run various workshops for both primary and secondary pupils including our fantastic K'nex Challenges, Coding, Renewable Energy, Moving Toys and Girls in Computing workshops.

We are also inviting students to participate in the Research STEM project, specifically for Year 12 students who want to explore the potential of a career in research.

All of these incredible opportunities for youngsters are only possible thanks to our supporters generosity!

K'nex Engineering Challenges

Last year, 8,769 children from 169 schools took part in a K'nex challenge!

These workshops offer 8 to 11 year olds the chance to build something without having set instructions. Working in pairs they need to plan, design, build and then present their creation - helping to build their confidence and team work skills.

  • £20 could replenish a K'nex kit and buy replacement parts

  • £125 could fund a K'nex challenge for 60 pupils

  • £300 could fund a training session for new volunteers
